Embark on a shared 3-day desert journey from Marrakech to Merzouga. Depart early morning, heading east through suburban towns to the High Atlas Mountains. Enjoy scenic stops for photos, stretching your legs, and coffee breaks along winding roads to the famed Tizi Ntichka pass. Your first major stop is the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, renowned for its Hollywood film appearances. Explore the fortified Berber village at your leisure or opt for a local guide. After lunch in a nearby café, continue to the Dades Valley via Ouarzazate, Skoura Oasis, and Klaa Mgouna, known for its rose water distilleries. Arrive in Boumalne Dadès in the late afternoon, following the Dades River through fortified kasbahs to your hotel. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your Dadès hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel in the Dades Valley, today's journey begins along the Route of 1001 Kasbahs to the Tighir oasis. From there, we'll take a secondary road along the river to Todgha, where you'll enjoy a leisurely stroll in the palm-filled oasis and continue to the Todgha Gorges. After some free time to admire the towering cliffs and lunch at a local café (free time), we head to Rissani in the early afternoon, renowned for its date market and as a departure point for ancient Sahara Desert caravans to Timbuktu. After a quick stop, we proceed to Merzouga through rocky desert landscapes. Upon arrival at the Dunes Lodge, feel free to take a dip in their refreshing pool before getting ready for a sunset desert hike to the camp. Meet our camel caravan and ride through the ever-changing colors of the sand dunes with the sunset on the horizon. We reach our Sahara Desert camp before dark. After some time to admire the dunes and surrounding landscapes, prepare for a Moroccan dinner served under the stars next to the campfire. Late into the night, your local nomadic hosts will entertain you with their music and local drums.

After an early sunrise camel trek through the Erg Chebbi dunes, arrive at the camp operator's lodge for breakfast, a shower, and perhaps a quick swim in the lodge pool if weather permits. Meet your driver and vehicle and return to Ouarzazate. After some free time for lunch, we continue in the afternoon towards Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains. Your 3-day shared desert tour will conclude in Marrakech around 8:00 PM.
